Charles Fraser as Joe
Charles Fraser has appeared in the feature films "Pull" and "Jurisprejudice" and the short film "Hinkleton." He has also been featured in a variety of commercials, including those for Nissan, Rainbow Foods, and hotels.com. Charles has worked primarily as a stage actor in Minnesota. His stage credits include the Guthrie Theater's productions of "Ah, Wilderness!," "The Comedy of Errors," and "Othello," Theatre de la Jeune Lune's "Tartuffe," and Park Square Theater's "The Triumph of Love." Other Twin Cities theaters include Jon Hassler Theater, the Brave New Workshop, Illusion Theatre, Thirst, Minnesota Festival Theatre, the Minnesota Shakespeare Project, and Mystery Cafe. He also sailed the Bahamas aboard Disney Cruise Line's flagship, "Disney Magic," as a musical improvisational actor in the Off Beat Comedy Club. Bridgette McGehee as Marly
Bridgette McGehee is very excited to be working on this project. She was born and raised in the Chicago area and started performing at age 10 when she landed her first lead role as Martha in "1776". Soon after she became the youngest member of her church choir and started studying voice seriously at age 13. After many shows in her high school years she went on to study Theatre at Loyola University and vocal performance at DePaul University under the guidance of Ann Perillo. After college she was invited into the troupe of the Gilbert & Sullivan Society of Chicago were she perfomed for 3 seasons in various roles. She became a founding member of We're Not Joust Theatre, a traveling troupe performing Midevil and Rennaisance music and sketches. In 1997 she married David Rodriguez and started having children and following her husband around the country in support of his career in the YMCA. They have 3 sons Ethan 7, Cameron 6, and Aidan 4. Since moving to the Twin Cities area, Bridgette has been very busy balancing her family and persuing her career in film and theatre. She has performed in 5 productions at the Phipps Center for the Arts and has a number of short film, commercial and print credits added to her resume.
Jane Hammill as Francis
Jane is having the time of her life working on "REGULAR JOE"! "Wow, all the attention!" Jane is working on 3 other films this summer as well as a Minnesota Fringe Festival show. She is playing Karen in ICEBREAKER, (the mother of the female lead Sam). She will be Myrna in HARROWVILLE. And just finished A PERFECT GUEST for Gumspirits productions in Maine. You may have seen Jane in a Minnesota Twins commercial last summer washing the floor with a Yankees jersey. Jane has worked in the Twin Cities for Gremlin Theater in HAY FEVER, THE BOYS NEXT DOOR and LEND ME A TENOR. For Theater in the Round in PICNIC and WONDER OF THE WORLD. And for Starting Gate Theater in PRELUDE TO A KISS and EQUUS. She wishes to thank Gene Landry for giving her this opportunity!
Sean Nugent as Devon
Sean Nugent recently relocated back to the Twin Cities from New York, where theatre credits included the 1st National Tour of Seussical the Musical, The Buddy Holly Story, and the title role in Amadeus. Twin Cities credits include several productions with Chanhassen Dinner Theatres, including West Side Story, The Musical of Musicals, and Forever Plaid. He has also performed extensively with the Minnesota Opera and the Ordway Center. Sean made his film debut with the indie Acid Snow.
Chenea Love Green as Helen Joan
Chenea is over-whelmingly excited to join the cast of “Regular Joe”. If she looks familiar, you may have seen her in local films such as “Uncle Carl” and “Woman of the Night” or in local stage performances such as “The Vagina Monologues”, “Jesus Christ Superstar” and “Dressing Room”. No? Then you’ve probably seen her in the box office at Stages Theatre Company.
Cynthia Uhrich as Dr. Sander
Cynthia Uhrich has returned to the Twin Cities after working and studying in Florida and Los Angeles for the 13 years. Favorite theatre roles include: Irena in "The Seagull," Portia in "The Merchant of Venice" with the Pasadena Shakespeare Company, and Slut in "Slut and Sledge" directed by Oz Scott ("Picket Fences," "Soul Food,") at the Hudson Theatre. Locally, she appeared as Muriel in Outward Spiral's production of "In the Garden," Alaine in "Talking With..." and Sylvia Fowler in "The Women." Fun film/tv credits include: "Passions," (in a recurring role) and "Enterprise" where she served for one year as a Starfleet Officer. Local film credits include "Sisters of Satin," "Falling Rain," "Dotcommies Revisited" "The Seven Project" and "Test Tube," a Columbia University Graduate thesis film slated to screen this summer. Cynthia is also the Owner/Instructor of IN THE MOMENT acting studio, which offers instruct ion in a technique she learned in Los Angeles from renowned actor and teacher Alan Feinstein. She serves on the Board for In the Basement Productions, and is currently directing two Fringe Festival shows. She is represented by Moore Creative Talent.
Daniel Hirsch as Stephen
Daniel Hirsch began his acting career in Los Angeles when he appeared in the cult comedy film My Chauffeur. Since then he has appeared in several more feature films, including Pass the Ammo with Bill Paxton and Tim Curry, SkyHigh, Fatal Blade, Lady Avenger and The Zero Boys as well as the soaps The Young and the Restless and Days of Our Lives on television. Daniel also owned and managed The Whitefire Theatre and the NoHo Actors Studio in L.A. where he produced, directed and acted in dozens of plays, including several world premier productions. Daniel also produced and acted in The Road To Flin Flon, a comedy starring Jamie Kennedy in his film debut and Shattered Illusions, a thriller starring Morgan Fairchild.
Sasha Andreev as The Boss
Born in St Petersburg, Russia, Sasha Andreev grew up in the suburbs of Minneapolis before moving to New York City to attend the renowned Stuyvesant High School. Upon graduating from Vassar College with a BA in Drama, Sasha spent a year at Actors Theatre of Louisville as part of the 2003-04 Apprentice Company, with which he was fortunate to be involved in the acclaimed Humana Festival of New American Plays. While in Louisville, he shot the indie feature "How You Look To Me," acting opposite Frank Langella. Since returning to Minneapolis, Sasha has been active in the theater scene, being named "outstanding new face" in theater of 2005 by the Minneapolis Star Tribune. He is currently involved in several independent film projects, including "Regular Joe," as well as a starring role in the feature "IceBreaker."
